John Wallace (Jack)BOADEN(Ellington) Passed away Peacefully in Chester Court, Bedlington on 16th April 2024, aged 86 years. Beloved husband of the late Margaret, much loved dad of Michael, Andrew and Linda, dear brother of David and Anne, brother-in-law of Dawn, Richard and Jack, adored father-in-law of Heather, Tony and the late Angeline, treasured grandad of Luke, Jodie and Andrew, and great grandad of Kara, Leo and Toby. "A Golden Heart stopped beating, hard working hands laid to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best." Thank you to the staff at Chester Court Care Home for the care and dignity they have given to Jack. They showed love and compassion to us all, which meant that Jack spent his last days surrounded by those who loved him. Family and friends are invited to meet for the funeral service at St Bartholomew's Church, Cresswell on Thursday 2nd May at 10am, followed by burial at Cresswell Cemetery at 11am. Following the service all are welcome to Ellington Miners Welfare Institute. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to CISWO, The Coal Industry Social Welfare Organisation. Who are a charity providing free support to former coal miners and their families.
